Security

Each client gets a dedicated Obsidian Core environment — not a shared tenancy. We can run it on your infrastructure (on-premise) or on a dedicated VPS in ours. People still sign in with a company account; what they see follows project role.

Every organization is provisioned on its own deployment, so data and configuration stay separated from other customers.
On-premise or our VPS
Place the stack on hardware you control, or on a dedicated virtual server we operate for you. Same product either way.
Managed accounts
Login is for licensed organizations. Create and edit rights follow project role and admin flags, enforced on the server.
MFA on the account
Users can enable two-step verification from Settings so a stolen password is not enough.
Automated updates
We monitor dependencies and patch infrastructure and libraries on a frequent, automated cadence — then we watch that the updates actually land.
Observability
We run monitoring and observability on the deployment so incidents, health, and regressions are visible instead of silent.
