This Privacy Policy describes how ALERTMAP LTD OOD (“Alertmap”, “we”, “us”) collects and uses information in connection with the Obsidian Core mobile application and related Alertmap / Obsidian Core business services.

1. Who this app is for

Obsidian Core is a business (B2B) application. It requires an account and an active subscription to our platform. It is not intended for children or for general consumer use without a company account.

2. Information we collect

Depending on how your organization uses the service, we may process:

Account information: name, email address, phone number, login credentials, and authentication tokens.
Precise location: when you allow location access, to provide maps, tracking, and related operational features.
Messages and communications: in-app chat content and related metadata needed to deliver messaging features.
Usage and technical data: device type, app version, crash/diagnostic information, and similar technical logs needed to operate and secure the service.
Map/navigation data: map-related requests may be processed via Google Maps / Google Navigation SDKs according to Google’s terms and privacy practices.

3. How we use information

To provide and operate the Obsidian Core / Alertmap platform features
To authenticate users and manage subscriptions/accounts
To enable maps, location, and team communication features
To provide customer support and improve reliability/security
To meet legal obligations

We do not sell personal data and we do not use the app for third-party advertising.

Where GDPR applies, we process personal data based on performance of a contract with your organization/you, legitimate interests in operating a secure business service, and/or consent where required (for example, certain device permissions such as location).

Your organization (the business customer that manages your account)
Service providers that help us host and operate the platform
Google (for Maps / Navigation functionality)
Authorities when required by law

6. Retention

We retain information for as long as needed to provide the service to your organization, meet legal requirements, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Your organization may control account lifecycle and retention for business data.

7. Security

We use appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect information, including encrypted transport (HTTPS) and restricted access. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

8. Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of your personal data, and to object or lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. 9. International transfers

Information may be processed in countries other than where you are located. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for such transfers.

10. Children’s privacy

The app is not directed to children under 16 (or the applicable age in your country), and we do not knowingly collect data from children.

11. Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date will change when we do. Continued use of the service after changes means you acknowledge the updated policy where permitted by law.
